陳永興「感動就不遠」人生行旅&時事影音與談

宜蘭羅東聖母醫院陳永興院長日前在宜蘭地方電台接受專訪，漫談其從高雄遠到台灣對角線的羅東服務滿六年的「聖母情緣」，上周六陳永興返鄉在民報之聲與談其最新出版的「感動就不遠」六年在蘭陽平原的心路歷程並針對時事政局進行前瞻回顧與展望。。

民報之聲今15日（二）、13日（三）將一連兩日播出【陳永興「感動就不遠」人生行旅&時事與談】共兩小時節目，陳永興將在節目中，透過與主持人對話與談闡述每個階段的「故事」，每則「故事」反映社會時局的風潮，至今聽來也都發人省思。

陳永興在電台節目與談中，從其在台北市療養院寫過的「飛入杜鵑窩」回思學生時期組織百達山地服務隊、關懷偏鄉，數十年來服務領域，包括政界、醫界、文化與人權的無悔人生行旅，並說明其未來願景。

一生以蔣渭水為心靈導師的羅東聖母醫院陳永興院長，六年院長任期屆滿，不但成功地為該院募集資金籌建全台首座老人醫療大樓，更引發全國重視「老人醫療」的重要性與議題，陳永興毅然決定在年底決定從醫院卸下院長職務，使其有更多氣力關心社會服務。他說，退休只是不須上下班，但將有更多時間做自己的事，包括推展《民報》與文化雜誌、民間基金會，幫助弱勢團體，以及幫助偏遠小醫院…等。

一生故事高潮迭起的人權醫師陳永興目前甫滿65歲，懷抱知識份子的夢想，盼望建立公義和平的社會，從學生時期至今仍不改其志，充滿人文關懷也熱愛文學，最新出版「感動就不遠」完整記錄其六年「醫者情懷」投身耕耘蘭陽平原的人生行旅，陳永興說：「一棒接一棒，把愛傳下去」！
